Erika, I am not sure if you will remember me. I was one of Heather's best friends and Kira spent a lot of time at our home with Heather, playing with my daughter Ashlynn, who is just 6 months older than Kira. My name is Jessica McLane, formerly Melneczyn. I was so happy when I ran across this post. I have been searching for more information for years now. I spoke with Heather just a day or two before she died, and exchanged emails with her the very same day. I wish with all my heart that we could be there to celebrate her and Kira's precious lives. Unfortunately, we are now located in VA, and with such short notice, (for me), it isn't possible to make it to FL this weekend. I would love to talk with you though. I am hoping you will take the time to email me, or look up my facebook profile page so that we may chat. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this beautiful website. Your obvious love for Heather and Kira is endearing, and is the best way possible that I can think of to honor her memory. Heather was someone to everyone she met. Once upon a time, we wrote a poem together.....Heather was the other side of my coin....... Thank you again, Jessica Melneczyn McLane and Family

Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep.
