This was on the front page of the Gainesville Sun today. It caught my attention as I was driving out of the McDonald's Drive Thru after getting a happy meal for my son. I remember hte last time Heather and I went to McDonald's with the girls. We had picked up Kira from Gymnastics at the YMCA and swung through McDonald's before heading to Sesame Street Live. My son was just a baby then he is almost 4 now. I can't believe they have been gone from this earth for so long and miss them so much every day.
But more important than all that, their case is STILL UNSOLVED! So if anyone has any information no matter how little you think it may be, please come forward. You can even reply to this blog anonymously. Someone has to know something!! This is a true injustice to them and their family and loved ones. Detectives are still working every day, but as time goes on memories fade. I pray that this case will be solved in my lifetime. Unfortunately it was not in her dad's.

ReplyDeleteI have recently thought about taking on your case. My daughter shares the same name. I am only 2 years older than Heather. Her daughter and mine would be nearly the same age.
It always hurts no matter who it is when a child and mother are involved. I am a sensitive. I do not want to say psychic... I am still working on my skills... I do live here. So I have read many reports and tried to "connect". Looked at the empty lot on google maps 2007. I feel something when I look at it. I really want to see a picture of the house before or after it was burned. I haven't gone there but I am thinking about it. I know Heather is still there and the new house there isn't at peace.
I will tell you what I am feeling right now based on evidence and feelings. It was one man. It was a white man. Early 30's, brown hair. I wanna say facial hair. It was someone she knew. I am feeling he is the spouse of one of her friends. I may be able to pick him out in pictures. I want to say he had a truck. I want to say silver or white.
I haven't been working on this long... So things can change or feelings or things seen can be being misinterpreted so I can't be 100% but these are my first impressions.
Also he shot her in the chest first. She threatened to call and tell someone. He threatened her back. She went to call that person. He shot her. He wasn't much for killing. He didn't want to kill Kira. He is an influential man who people fear or very intimidated by. The neighbors know something. I will update as I find out more.
